(TAH-jeeks) – “But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere” (2 Corinthians 2:14 ESV). In Tajikistan, many people will go their entire life thinking that Christianity is just a Western religion. Many may never (knowingly) meet a Tajik believer. This reality is incredibly tragic, as millions from this people group don’t know that salvation in Jesus is even an option for them! But praise God, for He has already rescued many Tajiks from darkness. Please pray that these local believers will live from their victory in Christ. Pray that through their transformed lives, they will be the “fragrance” of salvation and bold ambassadors of Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead them and also raise up more people to declare the truth and knowledge of God.
