(TAH-jeeks) – Some believers recently had a conversation with a woman who works from her home. The discussion turned to the Christian holiday of Christmas, and she asked what it was. As the conversation progressed, she told the believers sharing with her that she had never heard of the words “church,” “Jesus” (besides maybe as a prophet), or even “a follower of Jesus.” The gospel was shared that day. Pray that the Lord will open this woman’s eyes and that she will be saved, along with all her household! Ask that she may become a “Lydia,” as described in Acts 16:14-15 (ESV): “One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, ‘If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.'” The Lord is able!
