December is a wonderful time of year at Cape Town Baptist Seminary. A graduation dinner and the graduation itself happen the first weekend of the month. Hope increases throughout December and January after graduation concludes. This causes excitement in the faculty, staff, students, and Baptists in Cape Town. Faculty members and staff pray for a great influx of God-called men and women to begin studying. Would you pray for God to call out more laborers for the harvest? Ask Him to give the faculty discerning hearts and wisdom. Intercede for the chosen, asking that they will obey God’s calling for them to become His ministers to reach more people with the gospel. “Lord God, You call people as Your servants, and we thank You for sending more laborers into the harvest. Give each of the people You call sensitive and obedient spirits and prepare them for Your service. Please be with the faculty as they seek to know Your will about each applicant. Thank you for sending more laborers into the harvest!” “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38 ESV).
