Please pray for many Dampelasa people to come to faith in Christ. Indonesian disciple-makers have been visiting this unengaged, unreached people group (UUPG) for the past couple of years, and in November 2024, one Dampelasa man came to faith. There is some openness in this Muslim-majority area. A small team of disciple-makers lives in a large city nearby, allowing them to more easily access the Dampelasa people as well as other UUPGs in the area. They can also offer more consistent discipleship opportunities for the new believer, Mrs. Baru. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to work in Mr. Baru’s heart, cultivate a desire to read the Word, illuminate spiritual truths for him, and inspire him to live out what he reads. Pray for a spiritual awakening among the Dampelasa people, and that they would be a catalyst to reach the other UUPGs in the Central Sulawesi region.
