About This Project
Christians, the Church, and seekers struggle to understand Scripture all across Sub-Saharan Africa. Literacy challenges coupled with the lack of Scripture in the heart languages have hindered deep discipleship, evangelism, and leadership development. The StoryTogether is changing that reality and bringing the Bible alive in heart languages throughout the African continent! Your gift will underwrite StoryTogether training, sending the gospel to unreached peoples and places through Bible storytellers and audio recordings.
StoryTogether teaches local believers to craft Bible stories in their local language using the natural storytelling style of their people group. By teaching national believers to share the gospel in their heart languages, God’s Word will flow organically throughout their communities. Evangelism becomes a standard practice as the stories go out in a way that people can fully understand and respond to them. Deep discipleship becomes a lifestyle. Leadership development is inclusive. Participants can become trainers for other StoryTogether projects in their local context. In addition, the gospel will go to areas where missionaries cannot safely travel.
