About This Project
On March 28, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, the most powerful to hit the country since 1946. More than 3,100 people have died, with many more casualties feared and dozens more injured or trapped. Thousands of homes have been damaged or destroyed. You can provide urgently needed aid, including shelter, food, healing, and the hope of Christ to reach hearts in the middle of this devastation. Give today to help families in the devastated areas.
The people of Myanmar are in extreme difficulty at this time. Your gift will provide aid to alleviate the physical suffering, bring joy to the hopeless and share the hope of the gospel.
Aid teams will meet physical and community needs by distributing food packets, water filters, and health and hygiene packets.
Spiritual needs will be met by distributing gospel packets, gospel mp3 players and community viewings of gospel-centered videos and movies in the local languages.
The teams are already implementing these projects and your partnership is vital to continuing the work. Give today to offer hope and the message of salvation to the people of Myanmar during these desperate and devastating circumstances.
Why direct giving matters
Giving directly to a missionary team helps fund the specific, on-the-ground needs your missionaries care deeply about—needs that aren't covered by CP and LMCO alone.
Myat* was one of the tens of thousands forced to find temporary housing in camps when their homes were destroyed by the devastating earthquake in March 2025.
Through the generosity of believers like you, Christian workers brought food packets and the hope of Christ into these camps. That’s where we met Myat.
She heard the gospel, but she wasn’t ready to publicly renounce Buddhism, living in a camp surrounded by Buddhists.
After seven months of reading the Bible, asking questions, and hearing the gospel, Myat finally stepped into a nearby river and professed Jesus through baptism.
While the needs across Myanmar are tremendous, you are helping to meet them!
In the last few weeks, more than 500 people received food assistance along with a gospel witness because of your gifts to this ministry.
In addition, your giving enables recent church-planting internship graduates to address urgent physical needs in the area as they launch into those harvest fields.
Thank you for your sacrificial gifts and prayers! Your partnership is helping share the hope of Jesus with the lost in Myanmar.
Please join us in prayer:
You play an important role in advancing God’s kingdom in this region through your partnership. We appreciate your encouragement and faithfulness!
