About This Project
Many pastors and local church leaders in Southeast Asia serve in areas with little access to theological training centers. Your gift will take theological training to those who need it most, sharpening their leadership skills and deepening their understanding of God’s Word. Equipping these local leaders will enable them to shepherd their congregations more effectively, thereby fulfilling the mission to establish healthy, biblical churches across this region.
In the past four years, pastors and church leaders who have been trained using this material have started twenty new churches and eighteen new cell groups. They also have started new training groups for more pastors in their areas. Your partnership will strengthen churches across all of Southeast Asia, propelling the spread of the gospel to unreached peoples and places. Give today!
Why direct giving matters
Giving directly to a missionary team helps fund the specific, on-the-ground needs your missionaries care deeply about—needs that aren't covered by CP and LMCO alone.
Thank you for sacrificially giving and faithfully interceding for those in Southeast Asia. Many pastors and local church leaders here serve in areas with little access to theological training. Your gifts bring quality training to those who need it most, sharpening their leadership skills and deepening their understanding of God’s Word. Equipping these local leaders enables them to shepherd their congregations effectively and reach their communities for Christ.
Your generosity provided critical resources for Southeast Asian church leaders in 2023:
Thanks to you, two local pastors have been studying to earn their Doctor of Ministry degrees. Each has completed the required coursework and is in the final stages of preparing their ministry projects for submission to satisfy the graduation requirements. We pray 2024 will bring us two more partners to train local church leaders to fulfill the biblical mandates for leading churches as these two graduate with advanced degrees.
In addition, we began partnering with a new publishing company located here. Because of your generosity, we have translated, printed, and distributed multiple books this year. These resources will help train Southeast Asian pastors to disciple their members effectively.
Please join us in prayer.
Pray for our two Doctor of Ministry students as they complete the final tasks for graduation. Ask God to strengthen and encourage them when they face weariness and frustration and prepare them for this new phase of teaching others what they learned. We are immensely grateful for your generosity! Your prayers and gifts address the world’s greatest problem: lostness. Thank you for partnering with us in this ministry.
Thank you so much for your generosity to this ministry and the Southeast Asian church leaders God calls us to equip and train. Your prayers and sacrificial giving take theological training to those who need it most, sharpening their leadership skills and deepening their understanding of God’s Word. Equipping these local leaders enables them to shepherd their congregations more effectively, fulfilling the mission to establish healthy, biblical churches across this region.
Akha Graduates Ready to Reach Serve. Praise God for the 27 Diploma of Pastoral Ministry and Diploma of Church Leadership graduates from the Akha people group of Northern Thailand. The Akha people have been studying the 10 diploma program courses since before COVID. They were faithful online students during the pandemic, and the Lord has blessed their diligence and perseverance. Join us in praying for new graduates as they work for the kingdom of God.
Wa Graduation Coming Soon. We are excited to announce that students from the Wa people of Northern Thailand will complete the Diploma program shortly, and graduation will be in November 2023. These students also plan to translate the diploma curriculum into the Wa language, so additional students can begin studying soon.
Join Us in Prayer:
Pray for the Akha graduates to be faithful in using the course materials to train the next generation of church leaders.Thank you for your generosity and prayers. Your sacrificial gifts and intercession are truly transforming lives as we partner together to solve the world’s greatest problem, lostness.

Your generous gifts helped our Theological Training Initiative Team complete the translation of a ten-course theological curriculum into the Kachin and Lisu languages. Now we will begin translating the curriculum into two additional languages, Hmong and Wa. Because COVID continues to limit our ability to hold large group meetings, we postponed the dedication ceremonies until fall 2022.
