Historically, Hispanic countries have been considered a mission field, but now Hispanics are becoming a missions force all over the world.

Event
Hispanic and Latino Missions Sunday

Hispanic and Latino Missions Sunday is a day to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of Hispanic IMB missionaries and Hispanic churches as active partners with the IMB in bringing the gospel to the nations.

We invite you to join us in recognizing Sunday, September 21, 2025, as Hispanic and Latino Missions Sunday. In your churches, take time to celebrate and pray for what God is doing through Hispanic and Latino churches as they send missionaries to the nations. Pray for Hispanic and Latino IMB missionaries, many of whom are serving among people groups who are hard to reach with the gospel.

Below are video and downloadable print resources to make this a special celebration in your church.

Ice cream and auto rickshaws part of answered prayer in South Asia

An ice cream break. That’s what they needed. Luis Baltazar and Hugo Gonzalez recently traveled to a South Asian city to discover whether there were any believers among an unreached people group. They had no contacts, and they didn’t know where they were going to spend the night. The hotels they walked into were too expensive. The weather was also bad, which made everything more stressful.

They decided to stop for ice cream and regroup. This pitstop turned out to be the turning point in their search.
