A farmer in Lystra, Turkey, pauses on his walk home from planting crops. Located in south central Turkey, Lystra is mentioned six times in the New Testament and was visited several times by Paul and Barnabas. The ancient city of Lystra is now buried under a mound of earth. The ancient city has never been excavated because of lack of funds or lack of interest.
