A volunteer doctor, right, talks with the mother of six children who were forced to escape war-torn Syria and made the 25-mile journey to the border of Jordan where they now live. The doctor was part of a group of five volunteers from Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles, California. The volunteers were on a vision trip to look for ways the church could start to send more volunteers in the near future.
