Our team works in a poorer part of our country whose livelihoods come primarily from farming and small family businesses. Our team strives to raise up strong disciples and leaders from Hindu and Muslim backgrounds so they can take the good news to their own people across this fertile land of many rivers. More than 9 million people live here, but fewer than 0.1% are Christian. The opportunity is tremendous here, and we invite you to join us through prayer and giving as fellow laborers in the harvest that God sees here.
We partner closely with small house churches and a few small established churches that can trace their lineage back to the time of William Carey! These Christians face extreme difficulty and persecution in sharing their faith, but they are starting to count the cost and go out, and the Lord is blessing their labor by producing fruit, as a small number are beginning to believe. We aim to strengthen the local churches to be firmly discipled and founded in their faith, able to serve their families, their workplaces, and the villages beyond. We work through local businesses and already-established local churches to engage our community. Come alongside us in this work to expand the kingdom of God in our midst for the salvation of many!
Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Starting Businesses … ‘Til There’s No Place Left
Sustaining Christian ministry is difficult here because persecution and financial difficulties discourage the presence of Christians and curtail churches. Your gift will establish small businesses under the leadership of local believers which will sustain a Christian witness and strengthen churches in areas with the least access to the good news of Christ.
Training for No Place Left
An untapped harvest force resides within this South Asian country--believers who need training to reach the massive population of Hindus living here. Your gift will support church planting training by using best practices developed within the country to prepare this harvest force to labor to bring in the harvest!
Church Planting Training
We are praying and working for God to raise up a movement of local church planters. Join us in investing in local believers, equipping them with the tools they need to reach new communities with the gospel and plant churches. Your partnership in this project will propel us toward having a church in every neighborhood from which the gospel can ring forth, and God’s people can show His love in word and deed!
Leadership Training
Your partnership with this ministry will help house church and network leaders to grow in their theological understanding, learn to disciple new believers, and prepare to train others to plant churches. Your gift will host ongoing leadership training events to help accomplish this effort.
Expanding the Gospel's Reach
Our work results in a lot of travel as we share the gospel, disciple new believers, nurture churches, and develop leaders. We want to ensure everyone has access to the good news and the training they need to play their part in building God’s kingdom. Your gift will fund fuel and public transportation costs to send team members with the gospel to least-reached peoples and places.
Gospel Engagement through Media
In gospel ministry, ‘orality’ is the verbal telling of Bible stories for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. We teach local believers to craft Bible stories in their local languages and storytelling styles, then help them learn the stories and share them regularly. Your gift will train local believers and record the stories onto audio SD cards so the believers can leave SD cards with families. Join us in this exciting work!
The goal represents the cost of our team’s ministry activities for this calendar year. The Cooperative
Program and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® (LMCO) fully fund our living expenses. The goal amount resets
every January 1st. All gifts completed through this form are directed to our team’s ministry strategy.
