Meet the Burkhalters

Meet Joy, a missionary kid living in Colombia, whose family answered the call to follow Jesus and share His love with the unreached Embera people. By working alongside local believers to teach basic skills like reading and writing, this IMB team uses education as an entry strategy to create lasting gospel access. As the Embera learn to read the Bible in their own language, they are encountering God for the first time. Pray that these families experience gospel belief and desire to follow Christ.
