IMB Alumni

The mission of the Alumni & Advocate Engagement Team is to honor, engage, and involve alumni, parents, and advocates.

We do this by,

  • Recognizing and celebrating faithful service and sacrifice.
  • Facilitating and nurturing continued connection with the IMB.
  • Creating and fostering meaningful opportunities for community.
  • Promoting opportunities for advocacy to advance the mission of the IMB to serve Southern Baptists in carrying out the Great Commission
  • Encouraging, equipping, and championing the ongoing kingdom work of alumni, parents, and advocates that leads to greater praying, giving, going, and sending.

We value and honor all who have served and lived on the field, and those who have faithfully served stateside. All alumni are welcomed and invited into connection and community.

After the initial consultation, the Foundation’s attorney will provide a plan to the alumni’s personal attorney, and then the Foundation will cover the cost of the documents to be completed by that attorney. For more information on this service, please contact the Foundation at clientservices@southernbaptistfoundation.org.
  • Emeriti are invited to attend the Celebration of Emeriti that takes place every five years.

IMB Advocates are alumni, parents, and friends who actively participate in the vision and mission of the IMB.

They do this by:
  • Raising awareness of the world’s greatest problem: lostness.
  • Promoting the IMB’s answer: steadfast missionary presence to share the gospel and plant churches.
  • Involving themselves and others in praying, giving, going, and sending.
