Single adults who commit to career missionary service often become isolated, without long-term community or relationships to sustain them. The ebbs and flows in a walk with God are sometimes difficult for long-term personnel to acknowledge because of expectations about missionary service. Your gift will create spiritual renewal events that target these key need areas of isolation, disconnection, and spiritual dryness can revive long-term personnel, sustaining them for healthy, ongoing overseas service. Previous events for long-term singles were overwhelmingly effective in meeting needs, building community, establishing a network of support, and providing a focused time of spiritual renewal. The soul-care retreats helped long-term missionaries renew their intimacy with the Father and revitalizing their calling. Your partnership in Soul Care Retreats will allow single career missionaries throughout Asia to gather together for a powerful time of fellowship, encouragement, worship, relationship building, and spiritual teaching. Your support will also provide opportunities for small group soul-care retreats for long-term personnel in the coming years.
