We are the Bogotá Global City Team, and we invite you to walk alongside us in the work God is doing here in this great city. Bogota, a city of over 12 million people in its metro area, has little real gospel presence, but with many people migrating daily into the city, more gospel flow is desperately needed.
Yes, the task is great, but our God is greater! This city is full of people who do not know God’s goodness and saving grace, but our team is hard at work, and the Spirit of God is moving. Still, we want your help and invite you to join us by praying for the Spirit to continue His work and giving to special projects to help us continue ministering the gospel of God’s grace.
Working alongside precious national partners, we focus our ministry on specific segments of the city to maximize our efforts. Your gift will help us establish our ministry presence, strengthen our partners, and see more gospel access flow throughout the city! Ask the Lord how He wants you to help our team reach this grand city!
Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Church Planter and Pastor Residency Program
We are excited about equipping local pastors to lead and teach within their communities. Your gift to the residency program will support local Baptist churches as they partner to train new leaders and ensure a strong and lasting foundation. Your investment, alongside us, will help provide the resources and guidance necessary for locals to train locals in church-centered ministry.
Expanding the Gospel's Reach
Our team partners with local church planters who regularly travel to new areas to preach the gospel and plant churches. Your gift will cover their travel expenses, including fuel, plane, and train tickets, as well as provide meals during these ministry trips. Your generosity enables us to expand the gospel's reach by equipping and sending them out to areas with little-to-no gospel presence.
Theological Library for Pastors and Church Planters
Many pastors cannot afford to purchase books and theological materials. Our team has the vision of establishing a theological library to serve local pastors and those in training, providing them with access to resources essential for ministry. Your gift will help us stock the library shelves and ensure this place becomes a valuable resource for these faithful shepherds of the flock of God.
Online Evangelism Ministry
Help us use the World Wide Web to connect with seekers of truth in a way that has never been possible before. Your gift will enable us to create digital content, train responders, and send ads out to massive numbers of individuals so that we can find those whom the Lord will put in our path to lead them to his love and salvation.
Reaching the University Campus
We are passionate about reaching university students with the life-changing message of the gospel. This passion drives our dedication to creating welcoming environments where students can explore faith, build community, and grow spiritually. By helping local churches engage with students, your gift will help us organize outreach events, provide resources for spiritual growth, and strengthen our partnership with local churches.
The goal represents the cost of our team’s ministry activities for this calendar year. The Cooperative
Program and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® (LMCO) fully fund our living expenses. The goal amount resets
every January 1st. All gifts completed through this form are directed to our team’s ministry strategy.
