Partner with us as we work to reach millions of nationals and refugees by establishing healthy local churches in cities throughout our region.
How far do you have to travel to find a faithful church in your city? In the provinces where we work, not a single gospel-preaching church existed until 20 years ago. Thanks be to God, there is now a church gathering in over half of these provinces. Still, many people must travel hours to meet a follower of Jesus. Millions of citizens and tens of thousands of refugees live among us, but only about 500 believers.
Our team aims to see healthy churches planted across our region so that everyone, regardless of where they live, can hear the gospel from a local church. To this end, we faithfully share the gospel and prioritize forming churches with solid, healthy foundations and training local believers to take leading roles in the ministry. Each Sunday, believers from many nations gather to hear the Word, worship, pray, and build up one another in the faith. These people—refugees and local citizens, university students and retirees, singles and families—are those through whom God has chosen to make Jesus’ name known here.
We invite you to join us by praying for our team and giving to help us reach our ministry goals. Your gift helps us provide Bibles and other resources for evangelism and discipleship, host seminars, rent spaces for discipleship and training, cover travel expenses as we serve other cities, and provide practical help for impoverished believers. Your partnership enables us to invest in churches here and go to cities to help the believers there establish healthy churches that God will use to change their communities!
Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Building Renovations and Rent
As we carry the gospel throughout our region, we often rent a storefront for distributing materials to those curious about Christianity and to host Bible studies, discipleship classes, and other events. The space usually needs to be renovated to make it useful as a gathering spot. Your gift will cover rent, real estate agent fees, deposits and renovations as we carry the gospel into new locations.
Hospitality and Holidays
Hospitality is essential to Central Asian culture. Our local partners host home-based Bible studies, but often can’t provide the expected food and drinks because of the cost. Additionally, our churches host special events on Christmas, Easter, and the Persian New Year, which encourage fellowship and provide evangelism opportunities. Your gift will help us offer hospitality and share the gospel at these important events.
Inter-City Discipleship and Evangelism
Our work is spread across a large region, so we and our national partners often need to travel several hours to meet with believers. Ultimately, we are working toward autonomy and local leadership, but in the meantime, we must travel to disciple believers and help evangelize UPGs. Your gift will cover travel expenses such as bus tickets, fuel, food, and lodging.
Baptism Trips
Every month, we hear of people professing faith in cities up to six hours away from us. These believers become part of the gathering in their city, but these groups do not have leaders yet. While we search for and train national leaders, we and our national partners travel to other cities to meet and baptize these new believers and encourage the gathering. Your gift will cover travel expenses, food, and lodging for these baptism trips.
Digital Outreach
Social media’s popularity has created a unique opportunity to reach people who may never meet a Christian or would be too fearful to inquire about Jesus in person. We use social media to evangelize and to advertise our churches. Your gift will fund ad campaigns, training for local believers to use social media well, and ministry for local believers to turn online conversations with seekers into face-to-face meetings.
Discipleship and Leadership Training
In the last several years, we have seen the Lord work in incredible ways to draw his people to Himself throughout our region. With this in mind, we are investing heavily in teaching these new believers to grow in their faith and in training mature believers to lead well. Your gift will provide discipleship and leadership resources, sponsor seminars, and facilitate dedicated trainings.
Expanding the Gospel’s Reach
Our work results in a lot of travel as we seek to share the gospel, disciple new believers, nurture churches, and develop leaders. Your gift helps us get to the people who most need the gospel and discipleship. It also enables us to attend trainings so we can grow in the missionary task ourselves by sharpening personal skills, biblical knowledge, and application.
Eren* first began to research Christianity during the COVID pandemic, while he was still in high school.
He became convinced that Christianity is true. Unfortunately, he lived in a smaller city where there were no other believers to encourage or disciple him in faith.
When he started university, Eren met Reza*, another young man who had moved there to study. Reza is a believer and invited Eren to a small church in that city.
That church was available to disciple and encourage Eren and Reza because of the generosity of givers like you.
Eren is now attending the fellowship regularly and has recently been baptized!
Our team invests in several churches meeting across several cities in our region. These fellowships bring together believers from more than five different languages.
Your gifts enable us to help these churches conduct seminars for young believers, provide practical help to refugees, and host leadership training events.
