About This Project
The George Liele Scholarship supports the growth of international missions knowledge and experiences among Black and African American Southern Baptist churches. Application for this scholarship is open for all at https://hello.imb.org/george-liele-scholarship/ with a stated intention to develop and facilitate one or more of the following:
Corporate prayer for IMB missionaries and the peoples they serve;
A culture of generosity benefiting the work of IMB missionary teams;
Education or training on cross-cultural missions;
Mission trips/vision trips with IMB teams and global partners;
General mobilization toward partnership with IMB teams.

In the next five years, a globalization goal of all IMB workers is to mobilize 500 local believers to become global missionary partners serving on IMB teams.
