Team Southeast Poland strives to bring glory to God and cooperate with local believers who share the gospel and make disciples. Together, we are pursuing a movement of Baptist churches planted among Poles. We invite you to join our team through prayer and giving so that everyone in southeast Poland has a chance to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
In Poland, a country of 38 million people, Baptists are few, numbering only 5,000. We want God to work through us to bring in a multitude of new believers, raise up Polish Christian leaders, and establish a movement of churches planted through the grace of Jesus Christ. We hope to cast a vision for and model a lifestyle of disciples pursuing Jesus Christ who make more disciples. Through students, sports, orphan care, and many other ministries, we seek to share the gospel and develop healthy churches that advance the kingdom of God in their city, town or region. Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Church Planting Ministry
Church Planting is a primary focus for our team. We are partnering with Poles to start healthy local churches. Come alongside us as we do evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, and many other things to reach Southeast Poland with the gospel.
Ministry/Training Center
The Lord has opened the door for our team to open a ministry center. The center will host local churches (Sunday morning meetings, Bible studies, discipleship meetings, ministry training) and serve as a home base for the growing student ministry. Your gift will cover rent for the location and provide ministry materials and operating costs. Please pray for God to establish this ministry that will touch so many lives.
Student Ministry
There are over 200,000 students who come to our city every year to study. What if we could reach them with the gospel and then they could carry it back to their hometowns? Through English clubs, classroom times, Bible studies and on campus evangelism, we are striving to reach this population with the gospel as they have show extreme openness to something other than the traditions of their past.
Orphan Care Ministry
The Bible clearly states we are to care for widows and orphans. The Lord has opened the door for our team to partner with a local orphanage through a yearly summer camp and year-round contact with the children. We are able to practically care for these children, but also show them the love of Christ. At the same time, there are many Polish volunteers that work alongside us who are in deep need of the gospel. Would you join us in this ministry?
Sports Ministry
Sports are a natural and effective way to meet people and build relationships. A team atmosphere often leads to great conversation about community, which then allows us to talk about the community of God. Join us by supporting this ministry as we strive to reach athletes with the gospel on local American football and baseball teams.
Digital Engagement Strategy
The Lord is working through technology, come alongside us as we share gospel related material via ads on the internet. This allows us to cast a wide net and find those that the Lord is already working in. As we connect with them we do everything we can to meet them in person and get them connected to the local church.
The goal represents the cost of our team’s ministry activities for this calendar year. The Cooperative Program and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® (LMCO) fully fund our living expenses. The goal amount resets every January 1st. All gifts completed through this form are directed to our team’s ministry strategy.
