An international medical center is seeking compassionate physicians and surgeons who are willing to invest 1–2 weeks serving alongside local medical professionals in a clinic setting. This unique opportunity is about far more than providing medical care. It is about equipping the next generation of doctors by mentoring local MD interns through hands-on clinical practice while encouraging them to integrate faith with compassionate patient care. In addition to working in the clinic, each volunteer is encouraged to teach a lecture or educational workshop in their area of specialty, providing local physicians and interns with valuable training and exposure to current medical knowledge and best practices.

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to spend time in our archaeology bone lab, working alongside our research team to help identify and diagnose skeletal pathology from ancient human remains. This unique experience allows medical professionals to apply their clinical expertise in the field of bioarchaeology while contributing to ongoing archaeological research.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

Mentor local MD interns through hands-on clinical practice.
Teach a lecture or workshop in your medical specialty.
Assist in our archaeology bone lab by evaluating ancient skeletal remains for skeletal pathology.
Share your knowledge and experience with healthcare professionals eager to learn.
Encourage and disciple Christian medical staff.
Model how to pray with patients when appropriate and welcomed.
Demonstrate thoughtful, respectful, and culturally sensitive ways to share the love and hope of Christ within a healthcare setting.

Whether you are a family physician, internist, pediatrician, OB/GYN, surgeon, emergency physician, or another medical specialist, your expertise can make a lasting impact—not only on patients, but on the doctors and researchers who will continue serving their communities long after you return home.

Other Requirements
