Live in America? You were born to come here and share your life experience with those who dream to go there. College students from all over the nation come to this city to study. While sipping delicious coffee and playing board games, talk with intermediate English speakers everyday about the important topics that have changed your life. Help equip nursing college students in English skills so they can be sent to the nations. Partner with local healthcare workers in advancing the Kingdom. Use your love for physical activities like pickleball, volleyball, hiking and mountain biking to connect with and reach those who have yet to hear. How will they hear unless someone tells them? Statistics in these areas say 99.9% are non-believers. Help spread seed of who is the Way, Truth and Life. Why should the birth country be a barrier to access the gospel?

Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.

Other Requirements

Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
