NT: Explore & Teach (2027)

Description

Spend your summer making an eternal difference among the unreached and unengaged. You’ll explore culture, ask questions, and open doors for future conversations about Truth and Life. You’ll invest in local students as you teach English and spend time with them, strengthening their conversational skills. You will not just join our team to serve. You will learn and experience firsthand how to contextualize the good news in our setting… and in yours! You will be challenged and changed as you see the Father work to reach those who have never heard!

Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.

Other Requirements

Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
