Your team will spend the summer in a vibrant global city focused on two main goals. One goal is to explore areas of the city, specifically college campuses, to help identify where a target people group is living and working. The second goal is to build relationships and share the gospel with those you meet in the target people group. Our team will provide support, encouragement, and mentorship as you help us explore where God is at work in our city.
Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.
Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
