Nehemiah Teams Advance Operations Training (AOT) is designed to disciple, develop, & deploy this generation to finish the Great Commission in this generation, specifically preparing young adults to continue their cross cultural service. Your training will include Americans & other young adults from across Asian Pac Rim Peoples affinity. After the intensive training phase, you will be deployed for immediate implementation of your training.
Your assignment will begin with a pre-field training conducted by IMB staff & field workers at the IMB’s International Leaning Center in Richmond, Virginia. At the end of your term, you will return for a time of debrief before returning home.
Residency – An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Residents are trained together with their cohort at orientation before deploying to their place of service. Residents then return all together for debrief at the end of their term. Application deadlines: Fall Residency trips: deadline to apply is May 1. Spring Residency trips: deadline to apply is October 1. For active members of Southern Baptist churches, travel to/from Orientation/Debrief, lodging and food during orientation/debrief, travel to/from the field, and emergency insurance is covered. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset travel-related costs and may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
