A Christian worker reaches out to the poorest women and children through her Help and Hope Center, which provides a place of refuge for abused women and children. Practical assistance in the form of a daily meal, showers and regular distributions of fresh vegetables and other basic food items helps reduce their reliance on begging for survival.
