(uh-JEE-an) – “Last summer, you were asked to pray for Emily, who seemed to be distancing herself from her local church body. She’s the only believer in her family. Emily’s boss suddenly started treating her very badly at work. Things at home are tense. All this stress has taken a toll on her physical body, her emotional health, and her relationship with her church. Emily has not attended Sunday worship services or midweek discipleship for quite some time. Pray that the Lord will hold her fast to Himself through this trial. Pray that Emily will return to her church community and that they will love her well. Ask God to provide a new work environment for Emily and to redeem this situation for His glory!
