Pray for pastors, evangelists, and church planters in Bangladesh to “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might” (Ephesians 6:10 ESV). Christian leaders regularly face trials and temptations from many directions. Ask that they will “take up the whole armor of God, that [they] may be able to withstand in the evil day” (Ephesians 6:13 ESV). Pray that leaders will shepherd others well, with humility and dependence on God. Ask that they will preach only the pure gospel and correct others when they are straying from it. Pray that they will have a vision to reach others with the good news of Christ and actively share their faith and lead their flocks to do the same. Finally, ask that these leaders will take time to develop others who will take on leadership roles, thereby growing the church and expanding God’s kingdom in Bangladesh.
