(BAH-soo-too) – There are many young women in Lesotho who cannot afford secondary school (high school). Some of them try to find a job, but with limited employment opportunities throughout the country, they are usually not successful in finding one. They lose hope and purpose for their lives. A lot of times, this leads to prostitution, early marriage, and even human trafficking. Several young women from a Baptist university in Oklahoma have come to Lesotho to lead a conference this month for these young women. Please be in prayer for the preparation and execution of the conference. Pray for this volunteer team to have wisdom in knowing what and how to teach. Pray for the young Basotho women to feel loved and to feel a connection to the volunteer team. Ask that they will find hope in Christ and His purposes for their life. Pray for their lives to be transformed through Christ’s redeeming love.
