Abdullah had worked around transient expatriate Christians for years. One day, he felt an inexplicable urge to visit a nearby expatriate church, although he had no idea why. The church building was closed, but upon turning to leave, he bumped into a church member who invited him to an English Bible study that evening. Knowing English, Abdullah went, and he began reading the Bible for himself. Before long, he professed faith in Jesus and began to be mentored in his walk of faith by a brother in this study. However, this brother eventually urged Abdullah to find a local church in his own language so that his faith could grow and mature with a spiritual family that would last. Abdullah began attending a small local church and is now wanting to be baptized. Occasionally his wife visits the church, as well. Give thanks to God for Abdullah’s salvation! Pray for his faith to mature and grow and for his wife to believe and be saved.
