“These people are not co-workers, they are family to me,” stated Dr. Rick. For the last four years, Dr. Rick as the head of Eternal Peace Clinic, has helped the small staff make a great impact in the Starfruit Village and beyond. The clinic celebrates its sixth anniversary on January 17, and the past six months have had many trials. Because of your faithful prayers, the clinic team is strengthened in their service. “We decided as a team to sacrifice part of our salary so the clinic could remain open,” explained Dr. Rick. “With reduced outside funding, and fluctuation with national health insurance regulations, the employees chose to take a pay cut so services could continue at the Eternal Peace Clinic.” The team continues working hard and, prayerfully this year, the local Baptist association and partnering churches can deepen their involvement with the Eternal Peace Clinic. The clinic serves physical needs with the love of Christ. The kind staff does weekly home-care visits that help them gain access to people so they can care for the needs of those they serve. In the year ahead, please pray for increased patient visits from new clients as well as further gospel reach.
