As conflict has returned to the region, Haris shared with a believing friend that he and many Crossroad Arabs have no hope that the future will be any different than their past. He asked his friend, “Do you think this is true? That there is no hope for our future?” His friend replied that although the world is full of brokenness, there is hope in Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, a sure and steadfast hope for eternity is given to all who choose to believe and follow Jesus. This world may be full of suffering, but hope is found in the kingdom of heaven, not in the kingdoms of this earth. Pray that in this time of conflict and unrest, those who are hopeless will seek the One who can give them hope. Pray that Crossroad Arabs will not look for hope in an earthly kingdom, but instead find a lasting hope in the kingdom of heaven. Pray for believers to be bold in their witness and share the hope they have with the hopeless.
