Deaf Peoples

When Carmen, an African Deaf man, sent worker, Hannah Yount, a video message, she asked if she could share it with praying friends. “Hello! Are you doing alright? I wanted to let you know that I am here now in the village with my family, my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I’ve been visiting for three days now, and I’ve been observing. My family knows I am a Christ follower. They know, but now, they seem to be respectfully letting me be. I am so thankful to Christ as He has so wonderfully protected me! Visiting is very different now. God is at work in this family. I think it is due to the prayers that you have offered. I am so thankful to you for continuously praying. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please continue to pray. I am so grateful for the many people around the world who have been praying. Pray that as my family watches who I am as a believer, I can be salt and light to them. Pray for opportunities to share His stories with them–not my stories, but God’s stories. Thank you for being brothers and sisters of prayer.”
