“This past week, we attended a prayer meeting with a small group of pastors and their wives. These couples attending represented a picture of the diversity of the greater Toronto area. Participants came from Venezuela, Honduras, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Guatemala, but had a common desire to see the good news go out to those who have yet to hear. As we spent time together in prayer, each praying in their native tongue, I couldn’t help but think about the words written in Revelation 7:9 stating that there will be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and praising our Lord. It was so beautiful to hear the different languages praising the name of our Lord. Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this privilege of serving with my brothers and sisters from many different nations. Just like those gathered around the table, praying and praising You, we thank You, Lord, for this promise of people from every nation, tribe, people and language before Your throne one day. I pray, Lord, that You will bless these servants of Yours as they share the good news with those they are called to minister to.”
