For a while, the Lord has put a certain village on a worker’s heart where he has no contacts and has been praying to meet “people of peace” (Luke 10:6). In January, he prayerwalked in the village one afternoon. He didn’t meet anyone to talk with, but he took photographs of various things. Later, he made paintings of a few of those photographs, intending to give them as gifts to the people associated with those locations. In March, he returned on a sunny day with a few of the paintings. No one was at the first place he went, but he met a neighbor who received the painting and will give it to the owners when they come this summer. He was blessed to receive an invitation to paint the neighbor’s house, too! Then he went to a local store to gift another painting and met the woman who runs the shop. She was very appreciative and invited him to return anytime to paint some more. He’s very thankful for how the Lord provided a couple of people not only to accept the gifts, but also to extend invitations for him to return to their village. Thank the Lord for what He has provided!
