Jonathan is a Global Missionary Partner serving in a country near his own but with a very different language and culture. He has a vibrant language ministry in three languages. He teaches his native language to people who are moving to or doing business with his home country, and he teaches the main local language to newcomers in the country where he now lives, most of whom are fellow countrymen studying at the university. In addition, Jonathan is studying English so he can better communicate with his team and with other international students arriving in his large city. Jonathan names several students for whom he seeks prayer. Please pray that seekers will commit to regular Bible study so they can encounter God’s forgiveness and grace, and that believers will be bold for the gospel on campus and when they return home, where Christians can lose jobs and face imprisonment. Please pray for Jonathan as he experiences the annual loss of friends who leave the university to return home, advance their careers, or pursue further education.
