Global Missionary Partners, Asia-Pacific Rim

Last year, a coup interrupted life in an African country. All institutions, such as churches and universities, were closed. Missionaries and Global Missionary Partners (GMPs), including Paul and Nancy, relocated to a nearby country. Once housing and other logistics were sorted out, they formed new teams, resumed language studies, and found new ministry points. Now, the political situation in their first country seems to have stabilized, and the team leader wants to move back and resume ministry. However, prices of goods have gone up, and there are long power outages. Pray for the team as they make plans to return and find ways to overcome the financial and logistical challenges. Pray for local friends who are waiting for their return so they can resume ministry together. Pray for the team as they help people recover after the coup. Pray that everyone will be resolute in saying: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” (Psalm 73:26 ESV).
