Leah is a Global Partner serving in a country where believers are few and not always well-received due to the dominant religion. Two years ago, Leah met a fellow believer she calls Timothea and began discipling her. Recently Timothea has risen to the challenge of being a witness in this intimidating place. Leah and Timothea met a family at a place of worship for that dominant religion and struck up a conversation that led to Leah being able to meet with the woman on another day. The two women exchanged life stories, and they began to trust each other to share their individual faith stories. Leah shared the gospel. The other woman told Leah that she had prayed to her god for a true friend and then told her husband that the prayer had been answered in meeting Leah and Timothea. She wants to hear more – not to convert but out of curiosity. Please pray this curiosity will lead to an open heart for trusting in the One True God. Please pray that Leah and Timothea will be able to clearly present the gospel to her and to be a real friend to this lonely woman.
