In a country where the cost of living is very high, people work hard just to stay afloat. The summer months offer a welcome reprieve from the brutal six-days-a-week school and work treadmill. Life slows down, and people have time to stop and have conversations as they go about their days and meet up over a meal or coffee in public spaces. Please pray for the many summertime activities and events where nonbelievers will have an opportunity to hear the gospel message and see Jesus lived out by believers. Pray that those who are weary will find rest in Jesus this summer. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29 ESV).
