(joh-HAHN-is-burg) – The Media Team in Johannesburg has been working with South African partners and a cell phone Bible app to write Bible study plans intended to counter the prosperity gospel, a false belief that is prevalent across Africa. The theme of these three plans is “true prosperity.” Please pray that these plans will lead many people to understand and accept the true gospel. “O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called ‘knowledge,’ for by professing it some have swerved from the faith” (1 Timothy 6:20-21 ESV).
