Kampala, Uganda

(kahm-PAH-lah) –

“Central Uganda contains the country’s capital city, Kampala,” writes the Kampala Urban Team. “The population of central Uganda is 16 million people, and Uganda’s population is the second youngest in the world. Throughout central Uganda, and especially in Kampala, there are university students from many different nations. There are students from some countries that are considered closed to a traditional gospel witness, and many other students from neighboring East African countries move to central Uganda for their studies. Not to mention, central Uganda is home to millions of teenagers and children! All these people need to hear, understand, accept, and walk in the gospel. We need a single person or a married couple to come to Kampala and coordinate ‘next generation’ ministry for central Uganda. ‘Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest’ (Matthew 9:38 ESV). Pray that God sends us laborers!”
