(mah-POO-too) – One Southern Mozambique Team member teaching the children’s group at their church plant makes sure that she shares not only the Bible story for that week but also the gospel. She knows that children coming alone to church without their parents may or may not return, so she ensures that gospel seeds are sown. She has also challenged the children, ages 7-12, to share the stories they hear with friends and family members, helping them to realize that God can use them as missionaries in sharing the gospel with others. Because of these children and how God is using them to share with their parents, now families are starting to come to church. Pray that salvation will come from burdened children’s hearts. As these children learn songs and stories about God, pray that the words will find their way to soft and open hearts and ears.
