(MEE-boh) – Meet Sylvia, 34, a single lady who grew up with three sisters and her mother, but no father. Several years ago, Sylvia’s youngest sister believed in Christ and Sylvia told her sister, “If you are a Christian, you should be baptized.” Sylvia’s sister was baptized. Sylvia struggles with many health issues. Her family has tried many expensive doctors and cures, with no success. They even tried the witch doctor, who said the neighbor put a curse on her. Sylvia, who knew her sister needed to be baptized as a believer, has yet to believe in Christ. She has heard the gospel, but she would rather seek help from witch doctors and Buddhism. Pray that Sylvia will have dreams and visions about Jesus, and that He will use these to help her see that she needs to turn her life over to Christ. Pray that, as she trusts in Him, she will find spiritual and physical healing.
