Missionary explorers write: “One of the greatest joys of this season has been seeing God work through local believers who are faithfully sharing the gospel among unreached communities. Recently, a local pastor returned from an outreach trip where he evangelized, taught, and preached the good news of Jesus. During the trip, several people from two unengaged and unreached people groups placed their faith in Christ and began following Him. While we celebrate these encouraging responses, ongoing discipleship remains essential. Many are eager to hear the gospel but need biblical teaching and encouragement as they grow in their understanding of salvation and what it means to follow Jesus. These new believers need mature Christians and healthy churches to help them grow in faith. Stories like these remind us that God is drawing people to Himself, even in places with little gospel access. Please pray for these new believers as they grow in faith and understanding of the gospel. Pray for local pastors and church planters as they disciple them and teach God’s Word. Pray also that the Lord will continue opening doors for the gospel among these communities and raise up more workers for the harvest.”
