In July, you were asked to pray for Amir, a brother in Christ who was recovering from eye surgery. Now please intercede for his teenage son, Rehamat. One day while Rehamat was out walking, he became the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Pray for physical healing for him, and pray even more fervently for his spiritual wellbeing. Rehamat attends discipleship meetings, but he doesn’t talk much. Although his quietness may be culturally driven, he doesn’t seem to be super active in his faith outside of these meetings, so it’s uncertain where he stands in his relationship with God. He is also the only non-Muslim at his school, giving him ample opportunities to be influenced by Muslim beliefs. Pray for Amir’s family during this time and especially for Rehamat, asking that this difficult situation will serve to increase his faith and trust in God. Ask that through Rehamat’s witness, God will call many of his Muslim classmates to follow Jesus.
