(TAH-mil NAH-doo) – Eid al-Fitr, or Eid for short, commemorates the end of the Islamic month of Ramadan. Muslims fast for a month from sunrise to sunset to earn favor with Allah. After the month finishes, a long celebration occurs with feasting, new clothing, gifts, and family gatherings. Pray for Muslims during the first few days of April as they celebrate, asking that they will be more open to spiritual things and willing to listen to followers of Jesus who share the gospel with them.
