North Africa/Middle East Refugees in the Diaspora

Azad did not anticipate that taking his wife to the hospital one afternoon would mean a seven-hour visit and then a return visit the next day to be admitted for a week. Having been in Europe for less than a year, Azad and his family are still learning the basics of the language, culture, and systems there. Thankfully, two believing friends were able to drive them to the hospital. One was eventually allowed to help the wife with translation, and the other one stayed with Azad in different waiting rooms. Sitting together for hours allowed his friend to have the opportunity, once again, to share the message of Christ’s love and sacrifice for all people, including Azad and his family. Pray for Azad’s wife to experience physical healing and for this couple to understand more about the only One who can heal their spiritual needs. Pray that one day, the whole family will worship the Father, who sees them in their struggles to adjust, and loves them more than they could ever imagine.
