North Africa/Middle East Refugees in the Diaspora

A believer enjoyed celebrating a friend who had recently graduated from a local prestigious university. Although it should have been a happy moment for the friend, he was already worried about where he would work next. He had come to this university from another country, thinking that it would provide him the life and job opportunities that he wanted, but unfortunately, the job options were almost nonexistent. He was now considering any job just to make ends meet. If that weren’t enough, his home country is currently being torn apart in a brutal war. With all this heaviness, the believer encouraged the friend that God cares for him amid these trials. This opened the door to a spiritual conversation. The friend shared that he believes all roads lead to heaven and all that’s important is being a good person. The believer shared that we need Jesus to save us from our sins; our good works don’t help us. Please pray that this friend will know both that God cares for him in his trials and that he needs God to save him from his sins.
