North Africa/Middle East Refugees in the Diaspora

Nadeem is a skilled artist in a variety of mediums. Recently, she has found ways to use her textile abilities to earn a little extra money. She and other family members continue to learn the local language of the country they moved to a few years ago, while also seeking out honest-paying jobs. Not only do her artistic skills help the family practically, but they also allow Nadeem to feel a small measure of restored self-worth and purpose that isn’t common for many living in a refugee camp for years on end. Praise the Creator for how He gifts individuals with the ability to reflect His creative nature! Pray that God will help Nadeem and her family, as they deeply desire to lead fulfilling and successful lives in their new home. Pray that they will come to understand, as Matthew 6 teaches, that it is in heavenly treasure, rather than earthly, that ultimate security is found. Pray that the Spirit and Scripture will lead them to Jesus, the life and light of men (John 1:4), and guide them to rely on the Father to provide for each of their needs.
