Pray for a clear understanding in central Taiwan’s Buddhist community that God is holy and good, despite suffering in the world. Pray that they will understand that suffering does not mean that God is absent, disinterested or unkind (John 16:33). Pray that they will see God as compassionate and present, not distant from pain, and that He desires a unique relationship with them (Psalm 34:18). Ask the Lord to help them find hope, peace, and light in Christ who is always working for the good of those who love Him and are “called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28b ESV).
