This year, Easter falls right in the middle of several traditional Buddhist events. As churches hold special Easter celebrations, please pray that they will reach into traditional community events to share the amazing revelation and victory of Christ’s crucifixion (victory over sin) and His resurrection (victory over much feared death). Pray that His victory will outshine traditions, bringing hope and joy where there are fear and hopelessness. Pray especially for central Taiwan where many of these activities will be held. Pray that Easter’s message of life, hope, joy will bring victory that comes only through trusting Christ alone. May this message impact the most gospel resistant areas of central Taiwan. Pray that churches will not simply invite people to their celebrations but go into the fields, proclaim Christ, and be used by God to bring the lost into God’s kingdom.
