“Oh God who saves, Abraham boldly pleaded and bargained with You over Sodom and Gomorrah.” May we join with brothers and sisters in East Taiwan and cry out on behalf of the nations. “Burden our hearts for the lostness of the world in our neighborhood, city and nation. Burden us to the point of action, beginning with prayer. Ready us to proclaim Your truth and to offer them the gift of eternal life. Abraham prayed, ‘Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? And the LORD said, ‘If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake.’ (Genesis 18:24,26 ESV).”
