(soo-MAH-trah) – “In November 2025, two cyclones merged and formed one ‘megastorm,’ affecting the North Sumatra province in Indonesia. Flash flooding caused mudslides in villages, and in the midst of that horrible storm, God had, and continues to have, a plan to draw people to Himself. While doing a survey of the devastated area, a Christian man was met and a church plant was started. The first two weeks of September, our team, along with a volunteer team, will go and help the new pastor share the gospel with those who still live in hopelessness without Jesus. Please take 60 seconds to lift up this new church plant, and ask that the gospel of the Lord Jesus will be proclaimed among the people of North Sumatra and that many will believe on Jesus, repent of their sins, and follow Him to eternity.
