(car-NAH-tuh-kuh) – In a small village is a leader named Chendru. Being trained pre-COVID-19 in how to share the gospel, Chendru used that time to pray and get prepared to go when the time allowed. From mid-2021 to around the end of 2024, Chendru visited villages, mostly in the forests, for the sake of sharing the gospel and seeing churches planted in each of them. During those three years, he shared the gospel and successfully planted 24 new churches in villages where the gospel seed was planted. These churches are scattered over seven districts, and Chendru is still going to new places. The need is for his shepherds to continue to grow deep and broad in their ability to shepherd the flock. In the coming month, an initial training meeting will be held to gather these shepherds and lay the groundwork for a year-long investment in their spiritual growth and development to see more harvest workers capable of taking the lead in gospel work. Please pray for faithful and teachable hearts, obedience to Christ, and fruit that will remain for decades to come as the gospel permeates South Asia.
