(beng-AHL) – A large healing crusade was held last month that drew hundreds of people to pray to Jesus and ask for healing. However, the people were told that they could continue to worship all their other gods, too, and that Jesus was just one god of many. As Ben and Tina, a believing couple, have gone to different churches to teach, they’ve found that the people know about that gathering. Some were even present at that event. Ben and Tina tell them that Jesus will not listen to you if you pray to multiple gods (Deuteronomy 6:13-15). This is one way that Satan is perverting the gospel with lies, drawing many people away from the truth. Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to draw these people to Himself, and pray that they will not be led astray or devoured by “the father of lies” (John 8:44). Pray for the truth to prevail in these people’s lives. Pray for wisdom for Ben and Tina in this hard-to-reach area as they teach and point people to Jesus, the one true God!
